Felton Willis

April Flessa

April is a senior researcher at Felton Willis. She is well known among clients for her ability to draw insights, which ignite growth and provide the foundations for strong and effective communication strategies. She is instrumental in helping to build brands that connect with consumers.

April has over 15 years of marketing and marketing research experience and has conducted over 800 focus groups or one on one interviews. In addition to her work on many well-known consumer brands, she has strong expertise in the pharmaceutical/medical area.

Before engaging in qualitative research consulting full-time, she was a Vice President, Management Supervisor at Northlich, the largest Cincinnati-based advertising agency. There she managed a range of accounts in the consumer products, business-to-business, retail technology and telephony industries for clients such as Cincinnati Bell and Procter & Gamble. She was deeply involved in researching and launching new products from household goods to high-speed internet services.

After graduating with an MBA from Indiana University, April learned first hand the intricacies of creating a business plan for a start-up company. As part of the team that launched a transportation subsidiary for Roadway Services, Inc., she learned the importance of good research from the client side as well.
